The shadows are going on and people are looking grounded! Now for the decisions on the colours of the clothes...seems to always take the longest! That chap with his back to us...I want the pattern of the chair to show, but I don't want him to stand out too much. Same with the waitress...so I chose colours that match the background. If I had put her in a pink dress for example she would have become the focal point of the painting...not the cafe.
Enjoying drawing and painting the beauty fun and history in the every day buildings around me.

Buttercup Brunch nearly there

That chap with his back to us...I want the pattern of the chair to show, but I don't want him to stand out too much. Same with the waitress...so I chose colours that match the background.
