Time to get painting! as usual I went straight in with the browns purples and reds for the brickwork
then the sun came out, with some blues and blacks and shadows added for contrast. the building starts to get some shape and weight
now a mass of green to suggest the hill which sits immediately behind the bookshop. Dripping blues in wet and wet helps to bring some shadow and shape in to the mass of green. I have also started on the windows. Shadows on the ground next...and maybe that post box... looking forward to popping on the red!
