Wickle Painting Finished

All done! What a lovely shop...

I finished my Wickle this afternoon. Now it is off to the framer, so it will be ready for the next hang at Chalk Gallery. I really enjoyed painting this one. There are reminders of its former life as a furniture emporium, and Clothkits too.

    You had many funny ideas! I love the bird on the stroller, the baby in the shop window and the men carrying the furniture! They look great one in a window and one in the other...and now I'm so curious to know what they are carrying on...maybe a piano? :)

      thank you Gaia! the shop was a furniture shop for at least 50 years...Not sure what they are carrying! something wooden and quite heavy!!
